We all love the lustre and shine of gold jewellery. Nonetheless, prolonged and frequent wear of gold jewellery can cause them to lose their shine overtime. To prevent this from happening, you can take the following steps to maintain the lustre of your jewellery!

  Soak your jewellery in one part mild soap and ten parts warm water solution bath for 10 minutes. This will allow the dirt collected within and on the surface of the jewellery to break off from the jewellery.

  Remove the jewellery from the solution bath and use a non-abrasive microfibre cloth or a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently clean the whole piece of jewellery.

  Rinse the jewellery under clean, running water to get rid of the remaining soap and dirt.

  Handle your jewellery with care by using a clean, non-abrasive cloth to pat it dry before airing it to dry on a cloth placed on a safe surface.
